Road Cycling Tours in and around Perth
Named Velo City by some, Perth is a great place for you to practise your road cycling. The city has fabulous scenery, a range of terrain. The city also has a combination of bike paths, shared paths and quieter roads that make for an enjoyable road cycling tour. Cycle paths can also be incorporated into busier roads. Safe cycling access is available to most parts of this beautiful city and it’s surrounds. As such, we’d love to have you along on one of our road cycling tours.
Whether you are a seasoned road cyclist, a recent convert or are looking to try road cycling for the first time, we at Ride Paddle Hike can tailor a road cycling tour or activity for you. We want you to enjoy your time in Perth, regardless of your level of experience hence we aim to match ride speed, distance and difficulty with the skills, fitness and preferences of our guests.
Your Cycling Tour or Package
This is your personal cycling tour and the riders in our group will be the other members of your own group. As such, we can customise your experience and we encourage you to contact us if you have any special route or other requests. We can also package our hiking and stand up paddle board activities with road cycling to make your experience really memorable.
Our Road Bikes
We have quality carbon road bikes to ensure you get the most out of your Ride Paddle Hike cycling experience. Our bikes are fitted with disk brakes and your choice of Shimano road clip-in pedals or flat pedals, that is, your everyday bike pedal. Feel free to bring your own pedals if you ride with something different. Alternatively, our guides can fit Shimano cleats to your bike shoes.
Tour Guest Numbers and Recommended Age
We have tailored our cycling tours for 2 guests. This allows us to provide a more personalised experience than you would get on a group ride. We may, however, be able to accommodate up to 4 guests, depending on equipment requirements so do ask. As you might expect, these cycling activities are best suited to adults and young adults. Please Contact us to find out more or make a request.
What to Bring
You should bring personal cycling equipment such as your helmet and cycling clothing and footwear. Sun screen and sunglasses are also recommended.
